Biker Down is a free course for motorcyclists and motorcycle clubs. The course, which lasts about three hours, is in three parts: how to manage the scene of a bike crash; taking care of a casualty; and what may work (or not work) when it comes to making yourself more visible to other road users.
Northumberland – Ride Respect
Ride Respect is for bikers who ride in Northumbria. It’s about respecting the road, respecting your bike and respecting the ride. It’s about having a blast and staying alive so there are plenty more rides to come.
(Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, and Stockton-on-Tees)
Ridewell Tees Valley is believed to be the only local authority run motorcycle rider development programme in the UK, where riders can come along and complete their CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) and then progress all the way through to engaging in a post test course culminating with a recognised advanced qualification.
