Birmingham: Various training providers
Throughout Birmingham there are many training organisations specialising in advanced training. Each has their own style, but their ultimate aim is the same to teach the rider to enjoy motorcycling and be aware of the potential hazards of the road environment.
We feel that rider development is important and there is no rider who would not benefit from extra training. Therefore we would like you to consider booking a day with us on the BikeSense Rider Development scheme, which costs just £30 for the full days training on a 2:1 basis.
Staffordshire: CBT Extra
CBT Extra offers young riders the opportunity to develop their riding skills by providing free training and information to increase their awareness of the motorcycling environment. This training can be carried out in schools, colleges and youth groups.
Warwickshire: Enhanced Rider Scheme (subsidised)
Enjoy the Enhanced Rider Scheme with an introductory session subsidised by Warwickshire County Council.
West Mercia (Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire): ‘Take Control’
Take Control is a motorcycle skills enhancement course run by the Safer Roads Partnership in West Mercia and delivered by advance trained instructors from RMT Motorcycle Training. The course is aimed at experienced bikers who want to brush up on their skills, as well as new riders who are looking to gain more skills and confidence on their bike. The course is subsidised by the partnership so riders can get a half day course for £25 or full day for only £50.
WHAM Rider Skills Days are for any rider with a full motorcycle licence. You may have been riding for years or may have just passed your test; you can be a sports bike rider or ride a large touring machine. In other words – all are welcome and everybody will get something out of the day.
